Usually all I see on my dash is the more horrific side of the reality in Palestine right now. Dead bodies of children and sobbing parents. But I rarely see children, smiling amidst the chaos and injustice. I think this is one the most beautiful photos I may have ever seen. Look at his eyes, the shear happiness in his smile. He’s living and he’s what makes the crimes against Palestine unbearable to see but he’s also what makes me cry and what makes me hopeful. There are still people and there are still children that live with the hope that some day, their justice will come and that some day, the world will step up and speak out. One day they can be home. This boy is a sign that Palestine will forever be free in their hearts and that it’s only a matter of time inshaAllah. Keep them all in your duas.
